About

Written for people who check the maths.

Orion Veyr writes about hard money: what happens to stored work when the unit it is stored in can be created without limit, and what the alternatives actually look like when you read the documentation rather than the marketing.

There is no risk-free return. There is only risk that is visible and risk that is hidden.

What this is

Two books and a free twelve-module course. The through-line is that most financial advice is given in good faith by people who have never measured a return against the money supply, and that the answer is not to panic but to understand the mechanism well enough to make an unemotional decision.

What this is not

It is not financial advice, it is not a tip service, and it is not a promise that any number on this site will repeat. Every yield figure quoted here is variable. Every projection is arithmetic applied to assumptions, and the assumptions are stated so you can disagree with them.

Standing disclosures
The author holds positions in Bitcoin, STX, sBTC, Ether and Aave, and has an economic interest in the assets discussed. No protocol, exchange or foundation sponsors this site or reviews its content before publication. Protocol links are provided so you can verify claims at the source, not as endorsements. Always reach official interfaces through your own bookmarks. Phishing clones of these apps are common and convincing.

On the numbers going stale

This material moves fast. The sBTC Rewards programme that most existing guides still describe sunset in November 2025. PoX-5 activated on 30 July 2026 and changed the shape of the whole thesis. Everything here was reviewed on 7 August 2026. Where a figure is maintained by hand rather than fetched live, the card says so and states its own date. If something looks out of date, it probably is. Check the protocol documentation before acting on it.
